All requests →Chat & calls
Read and answer your chats in this browser, sealed end to end, once your phone has added this browser as one of your devices. That step needs the StateNull app 1.2.20 or newer. Browser calls have further limits, stated on that page.
On a phone, chat and calls are in the StateNull app: open StateNull › Comms. In a browser on a computer, this is where they open.

Calls, chat and Trust-E live in the app on your phone — open StateNull → Comms.
Records
Records are your sealed photos, scans and files. The ones you backed up live here; the rest stay on your phone.

Encrypted size
Each item is decrypted in your browser with your phone or your Recovery Code — the server only ever holds ciphertext, never your key or your evidence. Records that live only on your phone stay there: the browser can show only what you backed up to your Cloud Vault. Your local records, albums and the Key & Credential Vault are in the app.

Enroll a device
Generate a one-time enrollment link, then open it on the device to register it securely into **your** tenant. Corporate = supervised; BYOD = personal.
Device enrollment
Your devices are managed by your organization. To add or remove a device, ask your organization admin — they generate enrollment links from their portal.
Your devices
Your office can open only the jobs you shared with it. On the Jobs page, this browser seals each job you can open to your office’s Review Keys.
Share my jobs with my officeMEMBERS & ROLES quick access
Everyone in your organization, and their access level. **Admins** manage the whole fleet (enroll & revoke any device); **members** see only their own devices. Use the buttons here to grant full admin or basic membership — only the owner can change roles.
Need finer control — e.g. a device-admin for just one office? Use **Organization — Departments & Roles** below to delegate *scoped* roles per department.
ORGANIZATION — DEPARTMENTS & ROLES
Structure your organization into **departments** (organizational units) and delegate **scoped admin roles**. A role can be limited to one department — a *Berlin device-admin* cannot touch Munich. All rules are enforced on the server.
DEVICE MANAGEMENT — MANAGED APPS & PROFILES
Curate managed apps and network/config profiles, then assign each tenant-wide or to a department (OU). Devices in that OU — and its sub-OUs — receive them. Server-enforced.

The connection is always encrypted and the server's certificate is checked. A server without encryption is refused.
Stored encrypted and never shown again. Use an app password where your provider offers one — you can revoke it there at any time.
StateNull signs in to your server once, without sending anything. Nothing is saved until this works.
How messages to your customers are sent

Security
Evidence in the browser
Your sealed photos open only with your office Review Key. Choose how a browser gets it.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Add a second step at sign-in with an authenticator app (Google / Microsoft Authenticator) or one-time email codes.
1. In Google/Microsoft Authenticator choose **Add account → Enter a setup key** (or tap the link on your phone), then enter this key:
2. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows:
**Save these one-time backup codes** somewhere safe — each works once if you lose your device:
Web sign-in protection
Every browser sign-in must be approved from your enrolled phone. You normally manage this in the app under **Settings → Web sign-in protection** — it can also be switched off here, which is the way out if that phone was lost, wiped or reinstalled and can no longer approve.
To end this browser’s session, sign out here. A browser you no longer have is removed from your phone: StateNull › Browsers & devices (app 1.2.20 or newer).
Signing in will then need only your email and password. You can turn protection back on from the app at any time.
Passkeys
Sign in on statenull.com with your fingerprint, face or screen lock instead of your password.
If this passkey is saved in Google Password Manager, iCloud Keychain or a password manager, every device signed in to that account can use it.
Resetting your password removes your passkeys; add them again afterwards.
Sign in again to add a passkey.
ACCOUNT & PRIVACY
Delete account & data — permanently remove your account and captures.
Shared public links
Your public shares
Links you created (from the app) to share a single file publicly — end-to-end encrypted, the key travels only in the link. Revoke any of them to permanently delete the shared copy.
Data & call region
Where your data lives and your calls connect
Pick the region closest to your team — it decides where new files are stored and where your calls connect, which is what you feel as speed. You can change this 2× per running month (… left this month). Files you already stored stay where they are; new ones follow the new region.
ⓘ File storage for this region is being provisioned — until it is ready, new files use the EU region; calls use the region immediately.
ⓘ This region was auto-detected from your network at signup — you can change it any time.
We could not load your region settings just now. Nothing has changed — your data and calls are unaffected.
Retention & archiving
What happens to closed jobs
Nothing is deleted by default. Archiving removes the evidence bytes of closed jobs after the period you choose, to free storage; the tamper-evident record (hashes, events, decisions, who did what) is kept. Encrypted evidence cannot be compressed, so this is how storage is freed. Jobs on legal hold are never archived.
You are told 30 days before a job’s evidence is archived — on the job page, in History and by e-mail.
