Your captures are end-to-end encrypted. StateNull's servers only ever hold ciphertext — they cannot read your evidence. To operate the vault, the service does process account and delivery metadata (file names, sizes, types, timestamps) — never the contents.

Unlock your Cloud Vault

Enter your Recovery Code to decrypt your captures in this browser. It never leaves this tab — the server never sees it.

Your Recovery Code was shown once the first time you signed in on the app (cloud backup is on by default). It derives your key locally (PBKDF2 · 600,000 rounds → AES-256-GCM). A wrong code simply fails — nothing is revealed.

Recoverable cloud backup is on by default — just open the StateNull app, sign in, and capture something. Your sealed captures will appear here, unlocked with the Recovery Code the app gave you the first time you signed in. (You can manage backup any time under Settings → Account & storage in the app.)
