Verify a seal

Drop a photo or document here. Two independent checks run entirely on your device: the StateNull registry (who made it, when, original or copy) and a standards-based C2PA / Content Credential validation using the official c2pa engine — the same check c2patool and Adobe Content Credentials Verify perform.

Result types: Original (bit-identical sealed) · Derived copy (same content, resized/ screenshot/re-compressed) · Unknown (no sealed capture found). The check includes a Merkle inclusion proof against a signed tree head — recomputable offline, independent of StateNull.
New to Content Credentials (C2PA)? C2PA is the open industry standard (Adobe, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Sony, the BBC and more) that attaches a signed “who · what · when” label to a file at creation. It's powerful — but it lives in metadata a screenshot or re-upload can strip, and it proves origin, not truth. StateNull writes a real C2PA 1.3 credential of its own — signed by a StateNull claim-signer certificate, which is not on the public C2PA trust list — and adds an independent, offline-provable registry, so your provenance survives even when the label is gone.
